Perfect Wave Vol. 4 (Winter/Spring 2017)

Vol. 4 of Perfect Wave, our fourth and final issue of the magazine, is a commentary on art as a vehicle for spiritual, emotional, and political change. The issue features interviews with MSHR on their work with light, sound and symbols, Yuri Tuma on overcoming OCD and art making, Maja D'Aoust the "White Witch of L.A." on magic, and the late, great minimalist composer and experimental filmmaker Tony Conrad on his early days living as an artist in NYC in the 1960s. It also features a conversation between members of the Golden Dome School including performance art pioneer Linda Mary Montano and artist-healers Eliza SwannGrace KredellGenevieve Belleveau, and Monica Uszerowicz, as well as an interview with Ensayos' Camila Marambio entitled "Art, science, and uselessness in Tierra del Fuego" by Catalina Jaramillo. Throughout the issue there is artwork by Raúl De NievesAlex Phillipe Cohen, and Genevieve Belleveau, poetry by Joey De JesusAmy Catanzano, and Jillian McManemin, and front and back cover art by William Murphy

Though this is our last official issue of the magazine, Perfect Wave will continue to evolve as a platform. We look forward to coming back with new forms in the future.
