PERFECT WAVE VOL. 4
Vol. 4 of Perfect Wave is our fourth and final issue of the magazine to be published in the past six years, and is intended as a commentary on art as a vehicle for spiritual, emotional, and political change. The issue features interviews with MSHR on their work with light, sound and symbols, Yuri Tuma on his OCD and art making, Maja D'Aoust the “White Witch of L.A.” on magic, and the late, great minimalist composer and experimental filmmaker Tony Conrad on his early days living as an artist in NYC in the 1960s. It also features a conversation between members of the Golden Dome School including performance art pioneer Linda Mary Montano and artist-healers Eliza Swann, Grace Kredell, Genevieve Belleveau, and Monica Uszerowicz, as well as an interview with Camila Marambio entitled ”Art, science, and uselessness in Tierra del Fuego" by Catalina Jaramillo. Throughout the issue there is artwork by Raúl De Nieves, Alex Phillipe Cohen, and Genevieve Belleveau and poetry by Joey De Jesus, Amy Catanzano, and Jillian McManemin.
